Mr. OneTeas
Anthony Alberti, aka Mr. OneTeas is a self-taught artist. He lives and works in Monaco. Mr. OneTeas develops his artistic learning through travels, meetings and exchanges, leaving his mark in the streets of major international cities.
Over the years, Mr. OneTeas has become a true ambassador for recycling, giving another life to obsolete consumer materials and objects. The importance of the medium is paramount. “We are nothing without history”. These objects and materials are part of our development, then go out of fashion and fall into oblivion. Mr. OneTeas stand against an ever-proliferating overconsumption. He transforms and transfigures objects to get its messages across.
Devoured by the desire to create, Mr. OneTeas draws his inspiration from media, politics and his cultural environment. Diverting images and news in the service of his Art, he offers us his critical vision of society tinged with humor and originality. In in a nut shell, Anthony is a multi-faceted self-taught artist, He is above all a humanist artist.
“Today, people only come to life when they are on Internet. We are all actors and victims of this system. I am just making a statement. It is as if I was a kind of bailiff of conscience, except that I am not here to seize but to give “. Diktat of social networks, instrumentalization of religions, rejection of the human condition, contempt for the environment, reign of junk food, outrageous lobbying, generalized selfishness …
No need for a decoder to dive into the world of Anthony Alberti. His work is a mirror of our daily life, the allegory of a society of the image where appearance erases being, where the individual isolates himself, the community withers, runs out of steam and suffocates under the arrogance of all-powerful decision-makers so greedy for power that their innocence is only a distant memory of the past.
Mr OneTeas shakes up this world on standby, in sleep and in apnea, behind the modern horizon: the blue screen. This cluster of pixels that keeps us in suspense while waiting for a post, a like, a comment. In short, a virtual socialization shoot. Illusionary happiness.
