Maxime Massole
Maxime Massole grew up in the southern French sea-side city of Nice. He was mesmerised by the “Bataille de fleurs” (flowers battle) during the yearly Carnival, the party of Lemons in Menton or the Belle Époque architectural wave. He has been drawing as far as he can remember, without formally taken courses. Maxime is never to be found without a pen and some paper on him.
As a teenager, Maxime was constantly inspired by the Art Nouveau and the Art Déco. His style stems from the intricate styles of that erea, where he started in a black and white interpretation before adding some bright colours. Maxime spends most of his time drawing, when he is not working for the luxury perfume industry in Paris.
