Claire de Quenétain
Claire de Quenétain grew up in Normandie, then in Paris. She studied Art at the Arts visuels in Ecal (BA) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Then, went on for a Masters at the Royal College of Art in London and specialised in printed textiles in 2014. She started straight away her own Studio.
Claire’s inspirations stem from the countryside of Normandie, where she was raised amongst deers and hinds, which her parents raised. She liked to paint gardens, plants, small architectural objects, colours and staging. Claire is very keen about artists and people who express their cultural heritage through a visual language and everyday objects (fabric, wallpaper, tableware). She has a predilection for interiors which give a global visual coherence.
